Our story

E & G Training was founded in 2017 by Alex Girroir and Mark Eggering in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. At that time, the availability of awesome English and Soft Skills Training was lacking and they took it upon themselves to fill that gap. Ever since then, the company has been leaving their footprint all over Vietnam in a variety of industries.

We firmly believe that English Skills, Soft Skills, and Leadership Skills are all interconnected, which is why we offer them integrated together, or in separate trainings.

It's our mission to change how training is done in Vietnam (and everywhere!). Our focus is less on overly theoretical and conceptual items and more on delivering practical and immediately applicable learning items. It's our guarantee that trainings are unlike any that you've experienced in Vietnam so far.

At E & G Training, we want to change the way English & Soft Skills Training is done in Vietnam. We want to make it simpler, more engaging, more relevant, and unique. Things that you can use immediately in your daily life and connect with. Forget the overly theoretical and academic way of learning. This is the new way. This is why we create all of our training materials in-house.

So what do the E and G mean in our name?

Well, it has a double meaning. The first is the initials of Mark and Alex's last names (Eggering and Girroir). The second is the initials for our slogan "Excelling Growth".

    • 12+ years of Training, Teaching, and Coaching Experience.

    • Training Strengths: Soft Skills, Business English, and Pronunciation.

    • Excels at integrating a variety of Soft Skills into English Training.

    • Has helped level up skills at 40+ companies.

  • Matthew Choules (England)

    TRAINER AND HEAD OF RECRUITMENT & TRAINING

    • 6 years of experience in IELTS and Business English Training.

    • Collaborated with E & G Training Team on multiple projects.

    • Aims to teach at least 1 million Vietnamese learners within the next 5 years.

    • Training Strengths: IELTS, Business English, and Pronunciation.
